Hi, My name is Lora and I’m excited that you found your way to this page! I have always been drawn to connecting with people individually and through community. Ever since I was quite young, I knew that I wanted to help people in any way I could. Whether taking the time to smile and talk to a stranger, or through touch and working with my hands. I’ve always been fascinated by science and how the human body works. Through a journey of exploring my interests and talents in gymnastics, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, dance, and acro yoga I have been able to further my knowledge and understanding of how the human body is vastly interconnected and yet every body is unique.
I approach massage therapy from a holistic perspective, as I work together with you to relax and rehabilitate your body to achieve greater health. I graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria in 2014, and have been in practice for 4 years. I recently decided to open my own practice from a desire to better support my clients from beginning to end of each visit and I look forward to getting to know my local community around Green Lake and Nanaimo area through this practice.
My clients often comment that I am intuitive, kind, and compassionate, and I am continually learning and striving to improve my techniques.
In my spare time I enjoy spending as much time outside as possible with my fiancé Patrick, and Goberian dog Douglas. I also love dancing Kizomba and Bachata, and practicing and teaching Acro Yoga.
I look forward to meeting you and supporting your health.

I graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2018 and have been practicing here in Nanaimo ever since. I have always had a passion for helping others achieve their health and wellness goals. Before I embarked upon a career as a Massage Therapist, I achieved a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Victoria and worked as a support worker for homeless and marginalized populations suffering from mental health and addiction issues.
I am a trauma-informed practitioner and I practice with an evidence-based, patient-centered approach. I am committed to creating an inclusive and safe space for all bodies, and to providing compassion inspired care. My goal is to empower patients with education, and I utilize current evidence and science based best practices when developing a treatment plan for each patient. I use a variety of modalities and with a combination of manual therapy and exercise help to ease symptoms, promote relaxation, and improve function. I work with patients to find ways of incorporating meaningful movement into their routine in order to support the nervous system and achieve a better quality of life.
Growing up on Vancouver Island has given me a deep passion for the outdoors. I believe joyful movement is integral to our sense of well-being and I can often be found exploring up a mountain or near the ocean. I also maintain wellness through a consistent mindfulness and yoga practice, as well as with regular cold plunges!
